Lights… Camera… Revolution
Lights… Camera… Revolution is the fifth studio album by Suicidal Tendencies, the American crossover thrash band. It came out on Epic on 3 July 1990, and it drew on a mix of styles: thrash metal, funk metal and alternative metal all feature in its makeup, alongside straight-ahead rock.
The record matters in the band's story for its line-up. It was the first Suicidal Tendencies release to feature bassist Robert Trujillo, and the last studio album with drummer R.J. Herrera. Coming after the 1989 release Controlled by Hatred / Feel Like Shit… Deja-Vu and ahead of The Art of Rebellion in 1992, it catches the band in transition, with a new rhythm section member shaping their sound. It is well worth hearing if you want to know where their heavier, funk-edged side was heading at the start of the nineties.
