Free Your Soul... and Save My Mind
Free Your Soul... and Save My Mind is the tenth studio album by Suicidal Tendencies, released in September 2000 on XIII Bis Records. It follows Freedumb and sits in the band's hardcore punk and crossover thrash tradition, arriving some seventeen years after their debut.
The line-up is the interesting part. Mike Muir, Mike Clark, Dean Pleasants, Josh Paul and Brooks Wackerman had already made Freedumb and the 1998 EP Six the Hard Way together, so this was the only time the band kept the same personnel across three consecutive studio recordings. Paul and Wackerman left after the 2001 split album Friends & Family, Vol. 2. The record also gave the band their first official video in six years, for "Pop Songs", their first since "Love Vs. Loneliness".
