Six the Hard Way
Six the Hard Way is a short release from Suicidal Tendencies, put out on Suicidal Records on 17 November 1998. It was the band's first EP, and it stayed their only one until Get Your Fight On! arrived in 2018. The six tracks are split between four new songs and two live recordings, so it works as a small snapshot of the band at a particular moment.
For anyone following the group's story, it points straight ahead. Two of the new tracks, "Freedumb" and "Cyco Vision", turned up again on the album Freedumb the following year, which makes this a handy early look at material the band clearly rated. It sits in the stretch after Suicidal for Life in 1994 and is worth hearing if you like your skate punk with a crossover thrash edge.
