Liveandwell.com
Released in 2000, Liveandwell.com is a live album by David Bowie, drawn from recordings made on the 1997 Earthling Tour. It was issued in a limited edition and was not sold in shops. The only way to get hold of it was to be a subscriber to BowieNet, his online service, which makes it something of a curio in his catalogue.
The setlist leans on the two studio records that framed that period: Outside from 1995 and Earthling from 1997. That makes it a useful document of Bowie in his drum and bass and electronic phase, with alternative rock still part of the mix. A wider audience had to wait until 15 January 2021, when it was released publicly for the first time. If you want to hear how those late-nineties songs worked on stage, this is the place.
