EP
No Plan
No Plan is a four-song EP of David Bowie recordings, released on 8 January 2017, which would have been his 70th birthday, almost a year after his death. It gathers the original songs he wrote for his Off-Broadway musical Lazarus: "Lazarus", "No Plan", "Killing a Little Time" and "When I Met You". A video for the title track, directed by Tom Hingston, came out alongside it.
These are Bowie's own versions, taken from the sessions for his final studio album, Blackstar, where "Lazarus" had already appeared as the third track. The musical's cast had recorded the songs first for its official soundtrack, so this EP lets you hear them as their author sang them. It's a natural companion to Blackstar, and a fitting way to follow the last chapter of a long career. It debuted at number 138 on the Billboard 200.
