Album
Feed the Machine
Feed the Machine is the ninth studio album by the Canadian rock band Nickelback, released on 16 June 2017. It followed No Fixed Address from 2014 and was the group's first record for BMG, marking a change of label after a long run of earlier albums. The genres attached to it are rock and alternative metal.
It is worth hearing as a snapshot of a band at its ninth album, leaning into the heavier end of its sound. In the United States it entered the Billboard 200 at number five with 47,000 album-equivalent units. Fans who followed Nickelback from Curb through All the Right Reasons and beyond will find it a useful marker between the band's mid-2010s work and the albums that came after, Get Rollin' and Everything Under the Sun.
