Rainier Fog is the sixth studio album by Alice in Chains, released on 24 August 2018 through BMG, their first release on the label. It is the band's third record with William DuVall sharing lead vocals alongside Jerry Cantrell, and their third with producer Nick Raskulinecz, the first time they had made three full-length albums with the same producer.

The homecoming is what makes it special. It was the first Alice in Chains album in 22 years recorded in Seattle, partly at Studio X, where they made their 1995 self-titled record. The title nods to Mount Rainier, which looms over the Seattle-Tacoma area, and the title track pays tribute to the city's music scene. It reached No. 9 in the UK, their first top ten there, and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album.
