Slap-Happy is the sixth studio album by the American rock band L7, released on 24 August 1999. It arrived after the band were dropped by Reprise Records in 1997, and came out through Bong Load Records in collaboration with Wax Tadpole Records, an independent label L7 set up themselves. It sits between The Beauty Process: Triple Platinum and the band's much later comeback, Scatter the Rats.

This is L7 as a trio: founding members Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner, with longtime drummer Demetra Plakas, after bassist Gail Greenwood left. They made it on a low budget, producing it themselves with their friend Brian Haught. The songs are more varied and slower-paced than on earlier records, with a few borrowing from hip hop. Reviews were mixed and sales were poor, but some critics singled out individual songs for their style, which makes it a curious chapter worth exploring.
