Live aus Berlin
Live aus Berlin captures Rammstein on stage in 1998, a year before it came out on Motor on 31 August 1999. It sits between their second and third studio albums, Sehnsucht and Mutter, and works as a snapshot of the Neue Deutsche Härte band at the point when their first two records were their whole catalogue. Nine of the eleven songs from Herzeleid appear, along with eight from Sehnsucht, plus a full-band version of the Sehnsucht b-side "Wilder Wein".
It was issued in several forms, from a single CD of 15 tracks to a two-disc limited edition with 18 tracks and multimedia extras, as well as VHS and DVD versions. The staging of "Bück dich", which mimes anal sex with a water-squirting dildo, made it the most controversial moment. The video earned an 18 certificate in Europe, and the first DVD left the song out. It is on the uncensored VHS and CD releases and on the 2020 DVD reissue.
