The Beauty Process: Triple Platinum is the fifth studio album by L7, released on 25 February 1997 through Slash, in collaboration with Reprise. It was recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood and Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California. Bassist Jennifer Finch had left, so most of it was made by the trio of founding members Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner and longtime drummer Demetra Plakas.

After the tougher rock of their earlier records, this one moves at a slower pace and is more adventurous. Critics welcomed the attitude in the lyrics and the freer feel. "Off the Wagon" was the single, and the band toured the US as openers for Marilyn Manson. Krist Novoselic directed a concert film, released in 1998. The album reached No. 172 on the Billboard 200 but sold below expectations, and Reprise dropped the band afterwards.
