We Die Young is Alice in Chains' first studio EP, built around the title song and engineered and co-produced by Dave Jerden. It appeared on Columbia in 1990, with the US release on cassette. A vinyl pressing was made as a promotional single only.

It arrived the same year as their debut album, Facelift, so it sits right at the start of the band's story. That limited vinyl run has since made it a prized find for collectors and long-time fans.
