Live Facelift
Live Facelift captures Alice in Chains at the Moore Theatre in Seattle on 22 December 1990, playing songs from their debut album, Facelift. It first came out on VHS on 30 July 1991, with a Japanese Laserdisc release following on 25 October that year. The video has since been certified gold by the RIAA.
It's a snapshot of the band at the very start of their story, before Dirt and the albums that followed, and it was filmed in their home city. The concert reached vinyl for the first time on 25 November 2016, as a Record Store Day Black Friday release limited to 5,000 copies. A red vinyl pressing followed on 15 September 2017, limited to 1,000 copies and packed with a reprint of the original gig poster.
