Album
Crazy World
Crazy World is the eleventh studio album by Scorpions, the German hard rock band, released on 6 November 1990 on Mercury Records. It followed Savage Amusement and was the first Scorpions record since Fly to the Rainbow in 1974 not to be produced by Dieter Dierks. It was also the last studio album from the Lovedrive-era line-up, with bassist Francis Buchholz leaving in October 1992. His only Scorpions writing credit appears here, on "Kicks After Six".
The record is home to "Wind of Change", which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the ballad "Send Me an Angel", which climbed to No. 44. The album peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 and remains the band's only number one in Germany. In the UK it earned a Silver certification, the only Scorpions album to do so. In the US, only Love at First Sting has outsold it.
