Nickelback

Nickelback are a Canadian rock band who formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. The core of the group is Chad Kroeger on lead vocals and lead guitar, Ryan Peake on rhythm guitar and keyboards, and Mike Kroeger on bass. Drummers came and went until Daniel Adair joined in 2005. Their sound sits between hard rock and post-grunge, with a firm pull towards pop-rock hooks.

The band signed with Roadrunner Records in 1999, and "How You Remind Me" took them to the top in 2002, reaching number one in the United States and Canada. It comes from Silver Side Up. All the Right Reasons (2005) is their best seller, home to "Photograph", "Far Away" and "Rockstar", their biggest UK success. The Long Road and Dark Horse are also well loved. They entered the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2023.
