blink‐182

Blink-182 are an American pop-punk band who formed in Poway, California, in 1992. They came out of the suburban Southern California skate punk scene and made their name with high-energy live shows and irreverent humour. The best-known line-up is bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Travis Barker, who replaced founding drummer Scott Raynor in 1998. Their sound pairs catchy pop melodies with fast, punchy punk rock, and the lyrics deal with relationships, adolescent frustration and the struggle to grow up.

Cheshire Cat (1995) and Dude Ranch (1997) built a following in San Diego and Australia. Enema of the State (1999) and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001) brought the big commercial breakthrough, with "All the Small Things", "Dammit" and "What's My Age Again?" becoming MTV staples. Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio stood in for DeLonge from 2015 to 2022, and the trio reunited for One More Time... in 2023.
