EP
The Next Day Extra EP
The Next Day Extra EP is a short release from David Bowie, put out by Rhino in 2013. It sits alongside The Next Day, the studio album of that year, and serves as a companion to it rather than a record in its own right. Its sound falls within the art rock and pop rock territory that the parent album occupies.
It is worth knowing as part of the story of Bowie's return, since The Next Day was his first studio album since Reality in 2003. For anyone who has lived with that comeback record, the EP offers a little more from the same chapter.
