Toy E.P. is a short release from David Bowie, put out on ISO Records on 23 April 2022. It arrived as a companion to Toy, the album credited to him in 2021, and so belongs to the late stretch of his catalogue that began with Heathen and Reality in the early 2000s and carried on through The Next Day in 2013 and ★ in 2016.
For anyone who has followed Bowie from the Hunky Dory and Scary Monsters years through to his later work, it is a small but welcome extra to pick up alongside Toy. It makes a tidy way back into that record, and a reminder of how long his catalogue kept growing.
