Echo Park
Echo Park is Feeder's third studio album, released on 23 April 2001 and following Yesterday Went Too Soon from 1999. The Welsh rock band spent most of 2000 recording it at Great Linford Manor in Milton Keynes with producer Gil Norton, then returned to playing their own shows after a year spent largely on the festival circuit. It is the last record to feature drummer Jon Lee, who died the following year.
The singles "Buck Rogers" and "Seven Days in the Sun" came first, with "Turn" and "Just a Day" following after release. The last of those wasn't on the album itself, appearing instead as a B-side to "Seven Days in the Sun". The music press was mixed on it at first, but the public took to it, reaching number five on the UK Albums Chart, and critics have warmed to it since. It's a good place to hear the band's alternative rock sound with Lee behind the kit.
