Renegades

Renegades is the seventh studio album by Welsh rock band Feeder, released on 5 July 2010. It was meant to be the first of two albums planned for that year, though the follow-up was held back until 2012. It was also their first record away from The Echo Label, and their first since Comfort in Sound without drummer Mark Richardson, who had left the previous year.

Musically, it is a return to the heavier, guitar-led approach of their 1997 debut Polythene, setting aside the acoustic-driven songs that shaped the two albums before it. Before release, the band played early 2010 gigs under the name Renegades, which Grant Nicholas saw as "a band within Feeder", so fans would not expect the old hits. "Call Out", "Renegades" and "This Town" / "Down to the River" were released as singles. It reached number 16, and was reissued in 2017 with seven bonus tracks.
