Album
Helloween
Helloween's self-titled album, released on 18 June 2021, is the German power metal band's sixteenth studio record. It is the first made by the "Pumpkins United" line-up, which brought original guitarist and vocalist Kai Hansen and singer Michael Kiske back in 2016 to join the five members who had been together since 2005.
It carries some real history. Hansen last appeared on a studio album with 1988's Keeper of the Seven Keys: Part II, and Kiske with 1993's Chameleon. It arrived six years after My God-Given Right, the band's longest gap between albums, and it is the first to share lead vocals between more than one singer, with Hansen, Kiske and Andi Deris all taking turns at the front. It reached the top ten in several international charts, and it is the one to play if you want to hear both eras of the band together.
