Album
We Are Motörhead
We Are Motörhead is the band's fifteenth studio album, released on 15 May 2000 in the UK and Europe, with a US release the following day. It came out through Steamhammer, their fifth album for that label, which matched the number of full-length original albums they had made for Bronze Records.
It follows Snake Bite Love from 1998 and comes before Hammered in 2002, placing it in the steady run of records that carried Motörhead into the new century. The title says plainly what the band was about: heavy metal, hard rock and rock and roll with no fuss. For anyone tracing how the group kept going after their 1980s peak, this is a useful stop.
