Mystery White Boy: Live ’95-’96
Mystery White Boy: Live '95–'96 is a live album by the American singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley, released in May 2000, three years after his death. It was compiled by his mother, Mary Guibert, from DAT recordings made on the tour that followed his album Grace, taking in shows from 1995 and 1996.
Grace remains the only studio album he finished in his lifetime, so this record gives a rare look at how that music sounded on the road, in a mix of rock, alternative rock and folk rock. Critics were divided on it, but listeners in the United States took to it, and it reached number 12 on Billboard's Top Internet Albums chart. It makes a natural companion for anyone who knows Grace well and wants to hear him onstage.
