Ruck Zuck
Ruck Zuck is a remix album by the industrial rock act KMFDM, released on 9 May 2006 through Metropolis Records. The title is a German phrase that loosely means "instantly" or "right now", and the record reworks material from the band's previous full-length, Hau Ruck.
It arrived as part of a busy stretch in a catalogue that runs from Opium in 1984 to the present day. Hau Ruck came out in 2005, and Tohuvabohu followed in 2007, so this release sits between the two as a chance to hear the songs from that earlier record taken apart and rebuilt. For listeners who already know Hau Ruck, it offers a different angle on familiar tracks.
