Album
Hyëna
Hyëna is the 21st studio album by KMFDM, the German industrial band, and it came out on 9 September 2022 through Metropolis Records. It arrived in a catalogue that stretches back to Opium in 1984, and it sits between Apart in 2020 and Let Go in 2024.
The record also carries a small piece of band history. Its predecessor, Paradise, appeared in September 2019, which makes the wait for Hyëna the longest between KMFDM albums since the group formed. For anyone following the band's usual brisk run of releases, it marks a noticeably slower stretch, and it is worth hearing as part of that long industrial story.
