Let Go
Let Go is the 22nd studio album by German industrial band KMFDM, released on 2 February 2024 through Metropolis Records. It arrived in the same month as the band's fortieth anniversary, which makes it a fitting marker in a career that began with Opium in 1984.
It follows Hyëna from 2022 and sits ahead of Enemy, the next record in the catalogue. Videos for "Airhead" and the title track appeared on YouTube in the weeks before release, giving listeners a preview. The album also features rapper MC Ocelot, who contributes a verse, adding a guest voice to the band's familiar industrial sound. For long-time followers, it is a chance to hear KMFDM four decades in.
