Project: Regeneration Vol. 2
Project: Regeneration Vol. 2 is the eighth studio album from American industrial metal band Static-X, released on 26 January 2024 through Otsego Entertainment Group. It follows Project: Regeneration Vol. 1 from 2020 and runs to 14 tracks, some built from the last material the late vocalist Wayne Static wrote and recorded. The release had been pencilled in for 3 November 2023 before being pushed back, arriving nearly ten years after his death.
The run-up began with "Terrible Lie", a cover of the Nine Inch Nails song from Pretty Hate Machine, which was announced alongside the record in February 2023. "Stay Alive" followed as the second single in September. For fans of the band's pounding, electronics-laced groove, it's a record that carries Wayne Static's final work into a new chapter of the Static-X story.
