Krieg
Krieg is a remix album from the industrial rock band KMFDM, built from songs on Blitz, the album they put out in 2009. It arrived in 2010, released on the band's own label, KMFDM Records, and was issued exclusively there.
For anyone following the group's long run of studio records, it works as a companion to Blitz, which sits among the albums KMFDM released in quick succession around 2009. Here the material is handed over to be reworked and reshaped. If you enjoyed Blitz and like hearing how a band's songs behave when they are pulled apart and rebuilt, Krieg offers a different angle on the same set of tracks.
