Attak
Attak is the eleventh studio album by the German industrial band KMFDM, released on 19 March 2002 through Metropolis Records. It arrived after a three-year hiatus, following Adios in 1999, and marked the group's return to the studio after that break.
The record is a turning point in the band's line-up. It was the first KMFDM album to feature Lucia Cifarelli, who would go on to become a central part of the group's story, and the last to feature Tim Sköld. Fans tracing how the band's personnel shifted in the early 2000s will find it a useful marker, with WWIII following in 2003. It is worth hearing for that changing of the guard alone, and for how it sits within KMFDM's long run of industrial records.
