Paradise
Paradise is the twentieth album by the industrial band KMFDM, released on 27 September 2019 through Metropolis Records and KMFDM Records. It arrived in the middle of the band's long run of studio records, following Hell Yeah in 2017 and the Hamburg 1984 release of 2018, and preceding Apart in 2020.
The record showcases what the band call their new core line-up: Sascha Konietzko as frontman and principal composer, Lucia Cifarelli as frontwoman and principal writer, drummer Andy Selway and guitarist Andee Blacksugar. Guests include Doug Wimbish and Cheryl Wilson. The big draw for long-time followers is Raymond Watts, an on-and-off collaborator, who appears on a KMFDM album for the first time since 2003.
