EP
Escape From LA
Escape From LA is an EP by Melvins, released on 29 September 2019 on Amphetamine Reptile Records. It arrived in the middle of an extraordinarily busy stretch for the band, who by then had been making records since Gluey Porch Treatments in 1987 and had kept up a pace that few of their peers could match.
It sits between Pinkus Abortion Technician in 2018 and Working With God in 2021, so it catches the band between two full-length releases. For anyone following the Melvins' long run of albums, it is a short stop along the way, and the Amphetamine Reptile label name adds a little extra interest for fans of the noisier corners of American rock.
