Album
Working With God
Working With God is a Melvins album, released on 26 February 2021 through Ipecac Recordings. It is the American band's 24th album, arriving well into a career that began with Gluey Porch Treatments in 1987 and has kept up a remarkably steady flow of records ever since.
It came out in the run of releases the band put out around the turn of the 2020s, sitting between Pinkus Abortion Technician in 2018 and Five Legged Dog later in 2021. Loudwire placed it 32nd on its list of the best rock and metal albums of 2021, a nod from the wider rock press for a band that has never stopped working. For listeners who follow the Melvins' long, restless catalogue, it is a worthwhile stop along the way.
