Alive at the F*cker Club
Alive at the F*cker Club is a live album by Melvins, released in 1998 on Amphetamine Reptile Records. It was recorded on 23 August 1997 at the Corner Hotel in Richmond, Melbourne, one of three nights the band spent supporting the Cosmic Psychos at the venue.
The set includes "Boris", "It's Shoved", "Bar-X-The Rocking M" and "Antitoxidote", with a short, uncredited jam on Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" tucked in between. It arrived in the wake of Honky, in a catalogue that grew to dozens of studio albums. For sludge-metal fans, it offers a snapshot of the band on the road in Australia, rather than in the studio.
