Sugar Daddy Live
Sugar Daddy Live is a live album by the Melvins, released on 31 May 2011 through Ipecac Recordings. It was recorded on the band's 2008 tour and arrived in the wake of their studio album The Bride Screamed Murder, which came out in 2010.
Most of the set draws on the two studio records the band had made most recently at the time, (A) Senile Animal and Nude with Boots, so it works as a snapshot of the group in that period, played onstage. Two songs from the same show were held back and came out separately: "Suicide in Progress" on a split 7-inch with Totimoshi, and "Billy Fish", issued as "Billy Fish Alive" in the Joyful Noise flexi series in 2013. Completists will want to track those down too.
