Album
Nude With Boots
Nude With Boots is the sixteenth album by the American rock band Melvins, released on 8 July 2008 through Ipecac Recordings. It sits between (A) Senile Animal from 2006 and The Bride Screamed Murder from 2010, part of a long run of studio records that stretches back to Gluey Porch Treatments in 1987.
The band's sound here draws on sludge metal, alternative rock and experimental leanings, which is very much the Melvins' home territory. It makes a good entry point for anyone curious about their later-period work on Ipecac. A vinyl edition followed on 3 November 2009, so those who like to hear their heavy music on a turntable were eventually looked after too.
