Dale Crover
Dale Crover is a 1992 EP from Melvins drummer Dale Crover, released on 31 July 1992 through Boner Records. It appeared in the same year as the band's album Lysol, and it sits among a set of solo releases from the group's members.
The sleeve is a parody of the cover of Peter Criss's 1978 solo record, a nod to the Kiss solo albums that inspired the idea. Buzz Osborne later described the whole scheme of Kiss-style solo records as a joke that went out of control. That spirit of mischief is a good way into this one, and it makes the EP a fun curiosity for anyone following the Melvins' story beyond the main albums.
