Another Lesson in Violence is a live album by the American thrash metal band Exodus, released in July 1997 on Century Media. It arrived after a big shake-up in the camp: Paul Baloff, who had left in 1986 after Bonded by Blood, returned on vocals, and drummer Tom Hunting came back after leaving before the Fabulous Disaster tour in 1989 because of illness. Jack Gibson made his first appearance on an Exodus record, playing bass.

It's worth hearing as a snapshot of Baloff back at the microphone, with Robb Flynn of Vio-lence and Machine Head guesting on "A Lesson in Violence". It also marks the first time Exodus worked with Andy Sneap, who produced it and went on to work on every studio album from Tempo of the Damned to Persona Non Grata. The band went on hiatus a few months later, and Baloff's death in 2002 brought Steve "Zetro" Souza back as frontman.
