Shovel Headed Tour Machine: Live at Wacken and Other Assorted Atrocities
Shovel Headed Tour Machine: Live at Wacken and Other Assorted Atrocities is a live album from the Bay Area thrash veterans Exodus, released on 15 January 2010 through Nuclear Blast. The title nods to Shovel Headed Kill Machine, the 2005 studio album that formed part of the band's run of records after their 2001 reunion.
It arrived when Exodus were in the thick of that second wind, with Rob Dukes on vocals and Gary Holt, the only member to appear on every Exodus record, leading the guitar attack. Tom Hunting had also returned to the drum stool in 2007. For anyone who first fell for the band through Bonded by Blood or Tempo of the Damned, it offers the band's later line-up in a concert setting, with the Wacken festival at its heart.
