Hurley
Hurley is Weezer's eighth studio album, and the only one they released through Epitaph Records. It arrived in the US on 10 September 2010, with the "Memories" single leading the way. Rivers Cuomo produced it with Shawn Everett, and as on the previous record, Raditude, some of the songs were co-written with people from outside the band.
It followed Raditude in the band's run of albums and opened at number six on the US Billboard 200, selling over 45,000 copies in its first week. Its blend of rock, power pop and alternative rock makes it an interesting stop for anyone tracing Weezer's work through the late 2000s and into the 2010s, a period when the band kept changing how they put their songs together.
