The Good Life
The Good Life is a single from Weezer's second album, Pinkerton, which Geffen issued on 29 October 1996. In Australia it appeared as an EP. It was the second single taken from the record, and the label rushed it out in an attempt to rescue an album that was struggling. That attempt did not work.
The B-side, I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams, features Rachel Haden on guest vocals. Both songs found a new audience in the 2020s through TikTok, and the B-side was certified gold in 2026. For anyone who knows Pinkerton, it is a worthwhile companion piece.
