Quaternary
Quaternary is an EP from Mötley Crüe, released on Elektra on 10 September 1994. It was first planned under the title Leftovers, and it was never a standard shop-shelf release: copies were offered by mail to people who bought the band's self-titled album, with only 20,000 made available.
It arrived in the same year as that self-titled record, which sits between Dr. Feelgood and Generation Swine in the band's run of studio albums. Its hard rock and alternative metal leanings make it a companion piece for listeners who followed the group through that period, and its limited pressing makes it a curiosity worth tracking down.
