Live: Entertainment or Death is Mötley Crüe's first official live album, released on 23 November 1999. It is a patchwork rather than a single night's show, gathering recordings made between 1982 and 1999, so it follows the band from their earliest days through to the end of the decade.
The track selection leaves out everything from their 1994 self-titled album and 1997's Generation Swine, even though some of those songs were still part of the live set. Nikki Sixx later said the aim was to choose recordings that sounded best without needing to be touched up. It's a useful snapshot of the band as a live act, and it arrived just ahead of New Tattoo in 2000. It reached number 133 on the Billboard 200.
