Album
Girls, Girls, Girls
Girls, Girls, Girls is the fourth studio album by Mötley Crüe, released in May 1987 on Elektra. It follows Shout at the Devil and Theatre of Pain and was the last of the three records the band made with producer Tom Werman. The set includes the singles "Girls, Girls, Girls", "You're All I Need" and "Wild Side", the last of which became an MTV favourite.
What sets it apart is the sound. The band leaned towards a blues-rock influence here, and the change was well received. It reached number two on the Billboard 200 and sold over four million copies, matching the quadruple platinum status of its two predecessors. Metal Hammer later put it on its 2017 list of ten hair metal albums worth owning, which says plenty about where it sits in the genre.
