From the Beginning
From the Beginning is a Mötley Crüe compilation released through BMG on 12 September 2025, available on CD, LP and digital formats. It gathers a selection of the American heavy metal band's best-known songs from across their catalogue, giving newcomers and lapsed fans a straightforward way into a career that began with Too Fast for Love in 1981 and ran through to Saints of Los Angeles in 2008.
The draw for existing fans is a remix of "Home Sweet Home", the band's 1985 single, with Dolly Parton added to the track. It's an unexpected pairing, and it gives a familiar power ballad a fresh twist. Alongside it, the hits sit together as a reminder of how far the band's sound travelled, from the Sunset Strip snarl of the early records to the heavier, more varied albums of the 1990s and beyond.
