Alive in the Catacombs
Alive in the Catacombs is a concert film and live EP from Queens of the Stone Age, recorded on 8 July 2024 beneath the streets of Paris. The band played an acoustic set in the Catacombs, and it was the first time a musical act had been given the city's permission to perform there. The film arrived on 5 June 2025.
It sits between In Times New Roman… from 2023 and the band's next studio album, Perfecth, due in 2026. For anyone who knows the band for their heavy, driving desert rock, it offers a different way in: the songs stripped back and played in one of the most unusual rooms a rock band has ever been allowed to use. An audio-only version of the performance followed on 13 June 2025.
