The Split CD is a 1998 split EP that pairs Queens of the Stone Age with Beaver. It came out on 18 September 1998 through Man's Ruin Records, and it appeared on vinyl as Split 10". It is now out of print and is considered rare.

It arrived the same year as the band's self-titled debut album, so it catches them right at the start of their story. Two of their tracks, "The Bronze" and "These Aren't the Droids You're Looking For", were later added to the 2011 reissue of that debut, which makes them easier to find today. Look closely at the track titles, too: "Morocco" and "Absence Without Leave" are misprinted and labelled for each other's songs, a quirk collectors will enjoy.
