Uglier Than They Used ta Be

Uglier Than They Used ta Be is the fourth studio album from American rock band Ugly Kid Joe, released on 18 September 2015 on Metalville. It arrived in North America a few weeks later, on 16 October.

It ended a long silence. Motel California came out in 1996, so this was the band's first full-length studio record in nearly nineteen years, the longest gap between any two of their albums. The return was funded by the fans themselves: a PledgeMusic campaign launched on 4 February 2015 and hit its target by 20 February. Dave Fortman, who plays rhythm guitar in the band, produced the record. For anyone who knew the group from their early run of albums, it's the obvious place to hear how they sounded after the break, and it leads on to Rad Wings of Destiny in 2022.
