Album
Cursum perficio
Cursum perficio is the twelfth studio album by the American thrash metal band Anthrax, released on 18 September 2026 through Megaforce Records. It follows For All Kings, which came out in 2016, and that ten-year gap is the longest the band has left between two records.
There is a notable detail in the personnel too. This is the first Anthrax album since The Greater of Two Evils in 2004 to arrive without a line-up change from the one before it. For a band whose story stretches back to Fistful of Metal in 1984, that settled footing makes it a record worth hearing for anyone who has followed them through the decades.
