Paranoid & Sunburnt is the debut studio album from Skunk Anansie, a British rock band who arrived with a record that mixed alternative rock with pointed protest songs, mostly aimed at politics and religion. It came out on 18 September 1995 and climbed to number 8 in the UK Albums Chart.

It was recorded with the band's original drummer, Robbie France, though he doesn't appear on the cover. It is the first entry in a catalogue that runs through Stoosh in 1996 and Post Orgasmic Chill in 1999, and on to later work such as Wonderlustre and Black Traffic. A 2005 re-release added a DVD of the singles' videos, which makes it a handy way into the band's early story. If you want to hear where Skunk Anansie began, and how forthright they were from the start, this is the place.
