Black Traffic
Black Traffic is the fifth studio album by Skunk Anansie, the English alternative rock band. It came out on 17 September 2012 through 100% Records, earMUSIC and Carosello Records, and it follows Wonderlustre from 2010 in a run that would later continue with Anarchytecture in 2016.
The lead single, "I Believed in You", is a song about the disappointment people feel towards their politicians, which gives a sense of the band's willingness to turn a hard rock sound towards the world around them. The record earned a silver certification from the Independent Music Companies Association in 2012, marking sales of at least 20,000 copies across Europe. It's a worthwhile stop for anyone following the band's story beyond their 1990s records.
