Album
Ballbreaker
Ballbreaker is AC/DC's thirteenth studio album, released in September 1995 on EastWest Records America. It followed The Razors Edge from 1990 and came before Stiff Upper Lip in 2000, so it sits right in the middle of the band's long run of records after their imposing late-seventies and early-eighties peak.
The Australian band stick to what they do best here, with a sound rooted in hard rock and blues rock, built for big rooms and loud crowds. It is a good one to reach for if you want to hear how the group carried on through the nineties without changing course. The album was reissued in 2005 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series, which gave it a fresh outing for fans who wanted a sharper-sounding copy.
